Hey everyone....
I'm in Montana/Wyoming, and i'm having a pretty good time.
My family and I went to Yellowstone yesterday, and it was AMAZING. I loved it. It was probobly the most beautiful natural environment i've ever been in.
After we visited the park for a loooonnnnggg time, we started our drive to Wyoming. We drove through the Grand Tetons National Park and it was incredible. We watched the sunset behind the mountain range, which still had snow on their peaks.
It reminded me of our Garden State beach day a lot. I felt oddly spiritual sitting there.
It's interesting that i always feel closest to God when I'm in a beautiful natural setting. Although I'm still not sure if the higher power that does exist is "GOD", I do believe that there is a piece of that higher power in everything and everyone. Looking at that sunset and the huge expanse of mountains made me feel so small. I was in awe of what the earth has to offer, and I felt so completely at peace. I think that's where God truly is.
I rarely feel it in a church.
Otherwise, I'm having an awesome time. Woke up late today, and plan to sit by the pool and read Harry Potter (although I'm afraid to finish it from what you've all been saying!!!). Hope you guys are having a great time back in L.O.
Muah!

Love dove
I agree that you can definitley feel very close to god in a natural setting like that. It's a presence and a feeling that not many other settings can give you.I truly believe that there is a god and higher powers above us, through the caring hearts and feelings that are given to us as human beings. Through the sheer beauty that is the world and how diverse it is. These are some of the reasons that I believe that a god does exists
I am glad that you are asking yourself these questions and are evulating your outlook on what it is. God can be felt in many parts of life and I believe that the majority of it comes through interpretation and acquired faith. It is different for everyone there views of god in their life and the impact/reasons he does things. That is the beauty of choice and thought we are given. I believe that God can not only be a wonderful presence, but a being to help you grow and find out who you really are.
In sense I am most more spirtual about god, than I am directly from the book. God comes in all shapes and forms. The process of believing in god and accepting him to your faith whatever form it may be, should be right and natural.
I hope that in our relationship and in the future life that we will share I have and will give you a good example of my beliefs and faith in god. As your boyfriend and love, I want to do nothing but help you find what makes you happy and feel right.
Have fun reading Harry Potter and getting tan cutie! I love you and miss you tons!
